Mustafa Uğuz was born ,Turkey, in 1981. He received B.S. degree and M.Sc. from Middle East Technical University, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department ,Ankara, Turkey. In his Ph.D. study , he has been at Middle East Technical University, Informatics Institute. He has studied on cybersecurity ,cloud computing, ubiqutious computing and smart grids. His Ph.D. thesis is about the smart grid transformation in Turkey. Since 2004 he has been working for Arçelik as a Technical Leader. Mustafa Uğuz administered and managed several research programs and product development projects in academia and private sector, funded by the Turkish State Agencies,TUBITAK, EU H2020 and Industry. He was assigned by TUBİTAK as a member of TUBİTAK Display Technologies Focus Expert Group .For the time being he is the chairman of TOBB Digital Transformation Task Force. He is the chairman of TOBB R&D Centers and University-Industry Collaboration Commision and the Executive Board Member of ECİD (Turkish Electronic Devices Manufacturers Association). He is also the Arçelik representative at DIGITALEUROPE , APPLIA and EEBUS in Brussels.
